Hello Everyone! We have some interesting this happening in Gemini coming up, so let's see what's going on in the cosmos, okay?

Tuesday, May 15th 2012 - Venus Retrograde in Gemini

Lovely Venus will be moving retrograde on Tuesday evening, May 15th. So, what does that mean? Well, retrograde is a cosmic "backwards" motion that gives us time to go back and re-do, re-think or re-evaluate in our lives. Since Venus is moving retrograde in Gemini, the sign of communication, it gives us an opportunity to go back over the past few weeks and take another look on how things are going with our communication with others.

Venus retrograding in Gemini may help us re-flect, asking us several questions --are we being too hard on ourselves or those we love? Are we being too easy, letting others (ab)use us or take advantage of our good side? So take this time to ask and be aware of what Venus retrograde is trying to point out to us, so we can grow and learn from to move forward in our lives!

Sunday, May 20th 2012 - New Moon in Gemini

We'll have a powerful New Moon in Gemini on Sunday night as the Sun and Moon energies join together at 0 degrees! It'll be also be a Solar Eclipse too! Eclipse energies are clear 'stop and start' points in the cosmos, like pulling out an electrical plug, then plugging it back in. So, there may be a dramatic end in areas of communication, or, perhaps, the start of something entirely new or a chance to start over again.

This New Moon in Gemini can bless you and fuel up your intentions by giving you a good opportunity to get a clean break from something which no longer serves your highest good (either projects or certain people) in your life. It can also give you a 'zap', suddenly connecting you to bigger & better things --so, be prepared either way!

The weekend opens with a New Moon in Taurus just a little while after the Sun has entered the sign of the Bull, mighty Taurus. Use this energy to fill your intentions with passion and allow yourself to dream & plan BIG to manifest your desires into reality!

What's Happening in the Stars - 1st part of April 2012

Hi Everyone! Happy April! It's an early Spring & the birds are singing, the flowers are blooming and several retrograde planets are going direct! How exciting is that?!?

Mercury goes direct - April 4th



The planet of communication & techno-gizmos, Mercury, goes direct again on April 4th --about time, right? I don't know about you, but this was one retro period which gave me a few glitches with electronic things --ugh! But, it also gave me time to re-think & re-plan several BIG decisions in my life --all for good, of course! ;)

Mercury goes direct in Pisces, so the planetary energy gives us a chance to think & act in connection with the Universe around us. It's a wonderful time to check-in with our intuition & our mind to make sure we're on the correct path to move ahead or to re-organize our visions of the future!

Mars goes direct - April 13th




Yes, finally! Mars, the planet of action, moves forward once again. It only happens once every two years, giving us a time to pull-back our energies for a little while. Hope you enjoyed the 'break', but it'll soon be time to get back into the swing of things --so, be ready for a burst of forward moving action!

Pluto goes retrograde - April 10th



Sandwiched between these two forward moving planets, we have Pluto, Lord of the Underworld & planet of transformation, going retrograde for five (yes, five!) months. Stay aware of the world around you, because this will be an ideal time to make BIG changes on a global level --such as in our economic, social and political scenes. Yep, it's gonna be interesting and, hopefully, insightful too.

Libra Full Moon - April 6th




Yes, we'll get a dose of Full Moon energies on the 6th of April when Libra focuses on our relationships to others --friends, co-workers and significant others. This energy will be in a cosmic tug o'war with Aries, giving us an opportunity to find balance and harmony not only with ourselves but with others in our lives --good luck!

What's Happening in the Stars - Springing into Aries!

Hi, Everyone! Here's a look at what's going on in this crazy cosmos of ours ...

March 16-22 2012 - Put on your dancing shoes!


Mercury's in retrograde & teams up with the revolutionary, rebellious planet of Uranus for the next few days in fiery Aries. Like a jitterbugging dance couple, they'll move back and forth, stirring up our thoughts and making us look at our plans in a different (and exciting!) way. Just remember to hang-on and watch your feet --all it takes is one misstep and you'll be dancing to a different tune than you may expect!

March 21, 2012 - Spring Equinox!


Happy Astrological New Year! Yes, we have another chance to straighten out our plans or get them back on-track as the Sun heads into Aries on March 21st! Not only is the the Spring Equinox, a time to plant our seeds & enjoy the returning warmth of the seasons, but it's a good period for us to check-in with ourselves and make our plans to boldly move forward.

However, remember, we have several planets in retrograde motion --Mercury, Saturn & Mars --so it gives us a good opportunity to re-evaluate, re-think and re-plan our thoughts, motivations and actions. Strike a balance between what's going on within you and what's going on in the world around you --it's all good!

March 22, 2012 - It's a New Moon in Aries Party!


As we head into the New Moon in Aries, we also have a stellium (or cluster) of planets all in Aries too. Yep, it's a party as Mercury, Sun, Moon, and Uranus gather in the fiery, outgoing sign of the Ram! This'll be a little fire under our cosmic butts to get some things accomplished or, at least, to get motivated to moving ahead, for sure. Now Mars in Virgo is opposing this group of planets in retrograde, so be sure to take it easy --yep, one thing at a time, so try not to burn your candle at both ends.

What's Happening in the Stars - March 12-15 2012

Hey, Everyone!

Just letting you know that we'll be experiencing some triple good juju the first part of this weekend with very harmonious trines between several key planets! We'll have a Grand Trine (or Soul Pyramid) when Venus & Jupiter in Taurus will trine with Pluto in Capricorn and Mars in Virgo (which is still in retrograde), bringing in delicious earthy energies to our plans & goals making this a week of very productive energy!



This Grand Trine reaches its zenith (EDST) between March 13th 2 PM through March 14th 11 AM when all four planets get together at 9 degrees --so enjoy this big cosmic moment! :)

And, even though Mercury has went retrograde, it'll be an ideal time to put the finishing touches on older projects or releasing things which no longer serve your highest good. So, make good use of these planetary vibes!

Hi Everyone! We have several things going on in the stars for the first part of March --so, let's get to it, shall we?

Venus in Taurus - March 5, 2012


Sensual Venus moves into the sign of Taurus on Monday, March 5th and this is a comfortable placement for Venus! Taurus' energies are steady and stable as we may take time to appreciate the beauty around us! Venus' energies will be harmonious and perhaps she will give us a helping hand to be more creative in our work or projects while she's in Taurus for the next few weeks --so enjoy!

Full Moon in Virgo - March 8, 2012


As the energies of the Full Moon in Virgo plays tug o'war (known as an opposition) with the Sun in Pisces, we may can expect to turn our focus on areas of our health & well-being. Are you taking good care of yourself? Are you getting enough rest? Or are you staying up past your bedtime or overindulging in an unhealthy eating pattern?

Virgo's energies help us by making us reconsider how we are taking care (or not) of ourselves. It may be a good time to schedule a massage or to be more active by getting back on the treadmill at the gym!

Simply tune-in to your body & 'ask' what it needs at this time.

Remember, if you take care of your body, your body will take care of YOU!

Mercury Retrograde - March 12-April 4, 2012


Ah, yes, here we go again!

Mercury, the planet of communication, will be moving back through the latter degrees of Pisces until April 4. And, as always, it's a good time to re-think & re-view your life experiences, as well as current choices, a bit more carefully. And, if we need to revise, we can!

Honestly, to me, that's one of the positive parts of Mercury Retrograde! *wink-wink*

Now, remember, the stars don't make us DO anything. However, they can help us by making us aware of celestial patterns so that we can consciously choose to work with their energies (or not) in our lives! :)

What's Happening in the Stars - A Party in Pisces!

Yes, there's a party in Pisces ...and you're invited!

Neptune has entered Pisces, which is its astrological ruler, and Mercury, the quirky planet of communication, dove in last week! And, before long, we have the Sun, then Moon, dipping into the vast ocean of Pisces too!



Sun in Pisces - 2/19/2012

As we move from the mental (in a good way, of course!) sign of Aquarius into the dreamy depths of Pisces, we'll be tapping into the energies of Pisces' ruling planets (yes, two planets!) of Jupiter and Neptune. This will bring out such positive traits as compassion, receptivity and heighten our imagination too, but we must remember to 'go with the flow' instead of trying to swim 'up stream' if dealing with difficult issues during this time.

We may feel like Pisces' symbol --two fishes who are swimming in different directions. Trust your intuition and use this time to meditate or rely on a more spiritual outlook or philosophy to help you get through this phase.



New Moon in Pisces - 2/21/2012

Not long after the Sun moves into Pisces, it's quickly followed by the New Moon. This may allow us an opportunity to flow forward with our dreams of the future! But try not to get too starry-eyed and get carried away. Drugs &/or alcohol, which are also 'ruled' by Pisces, won't help, but may only make issues more difficult to deal with and can hinder making your dreams come true.

Use the New Moon energies of Pisces wisely by re-evaluating your dreams. If your dreams seem too BIG to come true, then aim for smaller, yet satisfying goals which will enlighten your future plans! :)

In the Headlines: Venus & Uranus in Aries

I'll must admit that astrology is, for me, a continuing unfolding array of irony & surprise --especially over the past weekend. I came home from dinner with friends, feeling pretty groovy when I booted up my computer & saw the breaking news headlines: Whitney Houston dead at 48!

I'm an 80s gal, going through high school, college & my first venture into the working world and, through the music of that time period, fondly remember people, places & events which reflected the world around me. And the awesome voice & shining personality of a young Whitney Houston & her music definitely played a big part of those years for me.



So, as you might imagine, my heart sank at the news of her untimely passing at 48 and just days before the Grammys, where her music had left their mark, in her heyday, on all of us who'd grown up to her pop songs & heart stirring ballads.

I quickly drew up an astrology chart and looked --sure enough, Venus, the planet of ultra-feminine charm & grace was meeting up with Uranus, the planet of 'surprises' & known for its energies to 'shake us up'.

Yep, talk about the cosmos hitting the nail on the head!

Later, after I found her birth information, I pulled Whitney's birth chart & realized just what a challenge this lifetime was for her. Like most of her fans, I, personally, wasn't happy with her later life decisions, but always hoped she'd get her act together, get off drugs & make a successful comeback.

But, alas, it all ended too soon.



Now, I didn't watch the Grammys, but did see the videos posted online of Jennifer Hudson's touching tribute to Whitney. I also saw the footage of Adele, an English soul singer, who got a standing ovation from the audience in a post-throat surgery comeback performance, then she won several music categories & carried home the gold!



What does this have to do with Kosmic Astrology? Well, to me, both ladies took to the stage & sang with the power, beauty & emotional strength of Venus in Aries --don't you agree? And, coupled with the erratic energies of Uranus, that's one heady combination!

The events of this past weekend, both the sudden tragedy & triumph of these amazing women are reminders of how the Venusian energies, together with Uranus, can sometimes express themselves in the world around us.

Full Moon in Leo - 2/7/2012




Tuesday afternoon we'll experience a blast of Full Moon energy in the fiery sign of outgoing Leo! The Leo Moon creates an opposition to the Sun in Aquarius. However, since the Sun rules the royal sign of Leo, its energy should work better together than most Full Moon periods.

This will be a good time to wisely indulge in your Self & reveal in your own sense of importance. We all can benefit from those lovely Leo energies, but be cautious not to overindulge or act out. Yep, it could tarnish your pride and could appear to be insensitive to others or even a bit foolish.

Saturn retrograde in Libra - 2/7/2012



Okay, folks, here we go again! Yep, Saturn, the taskmaster, will be moving into retrograde until June 25th --prepare for a pop quiz from your celestial teacher! Sure, Saturn's tough, but fair, so make sure you get the lessons you're suppose to be learning while Saturn moves backwards through the cosmos.

Those going through Saturn returns may feel these energies more intensely, but, after Saturn moves direct again, you'll be a better, stronger person --trust me.

She will be fiery and passionate, stirring areas of our lives with quick, and, sometimes, impulsive energies. Venus may be a bit intense, but it may be just what we need to motivate or stimulate areas of our lives where we need a little assistance with our desires and passions!

Neptune in Pisces - February 3, 2012

"Honey, I'm home!" Neptune calls from the ocean, finally happy to be back in the sign where he reigns supreme, Pisces.



Yes, on Friday we'll be experiencing a celestial event which takes place every 168 years when the planet Neptune moves into the watery sign of Pisces, the double fishes!

And that's pretty exciting, isn't it?

So, for the next 14 years, Neptune will be guiding us through the waves of illusion & imagination and stimulating our intuition in BIG ways!

However, we mustn't get carried away and try to drown our sorrows through drugs or alcohol or get caught up in the dreamy-like illusions that Neptune can sometimes create. Oh, no!

We need to be aware of the gifts Neptune can bestow upon us and use them to our advantage.



Wherever Neptune is in your chart will indicate areas of our lives where we can get in touch with our spiritual-side, to dissolve into our dreams for a better future and also connect us in deeper ways with others in our lives.

It's a strong cosmic energy and, also, a higher octave of the planet Venus. So, yes, it merges us through love and our oneness with the Universe!

And that's very powerful stuff, indeed!

We'll need to be aware that wherever Neptune is in our charts, it will highlight areas in which we'll need to remember not to struggle against the changing cosmic tides. So let's put on our floatation device & go with the flow!

Reminder: Mars in Retrograde Until April 2012

Mars in retrograde is not a bad thing --no, not really. It's a good time to start healing inner 'anger' issues, to re-adjust any projects which are not quite ready to move ahead on, etc.

Just remember that it's a good time to heal, so have patience & give yourself & others a good dose of LOVE 'cause it may be a bit difficult going through the process.

1/23/2012: What's Happening in the Stars

What a stellar day we have coming up on January 23rd! Several things are going on, astrology-wise, so let's take a look at all the juicy goodness in store ...



First of all, we have a New Moon in Aquarius! Now remember, New Moons are a time when you can set your intentions on whatever goals or dreams you’d like to put into motion and it'll be supported the solar and lunar conjunction! These energies will assist us in manifesting our dreams & desires into reality.

Very potent stuff, huh?



The Sun just moved into Aquarius a few days before, now the Moon meets up with the Sun and WHAM-O! And even though the symbol for the zodiac is a water-bearing person, the elemental energy associated with Aquarius is Air ...that's right, AIR.

It's a sign of revolution, change, rebellion and change --all pretty heady stuff! Even though it's intense, Aquarius works with humanity as a whole, moving us into the future through progress and change, even though it may seem a bit chaotic at times.

The New Moon in Aquarius is a good time to think up new ideas or strategies, not only for ourselves, but also for our communities as well. It's also still a new calendar year, so it gives us a 'breath of fresh air', allowing us to clear away the old and begin a-new. Very exciting, for sure!

Another stellar sweet-spot is Mars, the aggressive planet of action, will be retrograde from January 23rd through April 14th in the sign of Virgo. What does that mean? Well, since Mars is in a retrograde motion, it will seem to move backwards in our charts, giving us an opportunity to turn inward and re-do opportunities to better our advantage.

Perhaps your New Year diet resolution is already weakening or you'd like to strengthen your commitment to those New Year goals. Then, with Mars in retrograde, we have the opportunity for a cosmic do-over and get back on course! :)



And, last but not least, we have Chinese New Year on the 23rd celebrating the Year of the Dragon!

The oriental Dragon is a very lucky sign & rewards us with a year for success, but only if we work hard and think things through & not be too hot-headed or impulsive --so be careful!

Overall, the Year of the Dragon blesses us with a lucky & prosperous year ahead!

Full Moon in Cancer - January 9, 2012

We start of this exciting New Year w/a Full Moon in the sign of Cancer while the Sun is in Capricorn. Full Moon energies create like a tug o'war or see-saw effect with the Solar power. By bridging the gap between our inner & outer realities, it may help us to release the old & bring in the new --perfect for a New Year, huh?

Since the Full Moon is in Cancer, it reminds us to give ourselves self-nurturing either through prayer, meditation, purification baths or even extra sleep to help balance out the energies of the Sun in Capricorn.

First of all, I'd like to sincerely apologize for not posting since the Winter Solstice. You could say I got "wrapped up" in the holidays --LOL!
